FAMILY PREPARATORY GUIDE
What to expect
During the session, we will be taking photos of the whole family together, kids together, each child alone, guardians alone, and a mixture of different family combinations. Our team will guide you through posing. Please know that we are unable to replicate other images that you may find online or on our gallery as each family and child is different. We aim to photograph candid emotion filled photos of your family interacting.
What to wear
We recommend wearing neutral colors to your session as this will provide a timeless look for your gallery. Try your best to have each member of your family match the color palette you are selecting for your portrait session. The colors in your selected palette should compliment each other so that it goes well together and does not clash. We advice matching your palette to match your location and or season. For example: for the lake, wear shades of blues, creams, tans (colors that you would find in the surrounding areas).
Our team asks that you stay away from bright colors, patterns, texted t-shirts or large logos.
Post-session Process
You will receive your raw/unedited gallery within 3 business days after your session for you to select your favorites (amounts vary according to your selected collection). You are free to add more images post session. When you have selected the images please make sure to let the team know. Once you reach out to our team, we will begin editing your portraits. The current turnaround time is 3-4 weeks after the selection of your favorite portraits. The gallery will be turned in to you electronically when complete.
